1.The proposal to restrict PFAS prepared by authorities in Denmark, Germany, Finland, Norway, and Sweden will be submitted to the European Chemicals Agency on January 13, 2023. The proposal aims to reduce the release of PFAS into the environment and make products and processes safer. If the EU's restriction measures are officially enacted, it will have a significant impact on China's fluorochemical industry and affect products using traditional waterproof and stain-resistant finishing processes, such as sportswear products.
2.US outdoor equipment company REI announced in 2021 that it will ban the use of products containing PFA in the fashion retail industry and gradually eliminate products that have already been produced that contain PFA, to ensure that its products meet the standard of being completely free of PFA. It has pledged to stop selling all products containing PFA by fall 2024.

1.The UK brand Pangaia is using Recycrom dyeing technology in its Re-Color Capsule collection. This innovative technology grinds waste fabrics into powder and transforms recycled fabric scraps into unique colors - each color has a new dyeing formula - to effectively reduce the consumption of water resources in the dyeing process. Pangaia also partnered with Japanese company Toyoshima & Co to develop a new natural dye series that uses materials extracted from waste from food companies and farms, such as blueberries, matcha, and monk fruit. These extracted pigments are used in the yarn dyeing process, minimizing waste generation and reducing the need for water resources and harmful chemicals.
2.The ECOFAST pure sustainable textile treatment solution launched by the Ralph Lauren brand in collaboration with a chemical giant aims to address the water shortage and pollution caused by cotton dyeing. This technology can save 40% of water consumption and 85% of chemical usage, greatly reducing the environmental impact and ultimately reducing carbon footprint by 60%.

2.In celebration of Moncler's 70th anniversary, Francesco Ragazzi, the designer for Palm Angels, was invited to redesign the iconic Moncler Maya 70 jacket. To push the brand into the future, the down jacket uses fiber optic and battery-powered technology. This jacket quickly gained popularity on platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok, and Xiaohongshu.
